Congress does so many nefarious things in the course of a day that some get missed. Yesterday’s bill which passed the House by a margin of 324 to 84 (big enough to override a presidential veto) would make it possible for the Justice department (why the Justice department?) to seek damages from OPEC countries for oil price manipulation including limiting the supply of oil.
This legislation, if it passes the Senate, would force OPEC countries including the Saudis, the Iranians and Venezuela to follow the same antitrust laws that the “American” corporations must heed.
The legislation also creates a Justice Department task force to aggressively investigate gasoline price gouging and energy market manipulation.
There is no shortage of things that are wrong with this idiotic legislation. Here is a short list.
Retaliation -
The number of instances where I agree with Bush’s White House are very very few and far between but we agree that this legislation is a bad idea. The White House issued a statement stating that to target the OPEC countries would only anger them to retaliate against us and do more of what they are doing that is being objected to
The White House stated the obvious in saying that retaliation would lead to less oil to refineries which would raise fuel prices. Duh!
Globalism – For any country to seek recourse against any other country someone has to be in the middle or above? So, for one country to sue another is a step towards globalism because it puts the United Nations or some other global organization as a moderator in the affairs between nations. This is a clear and present danger to American sovereignty. The last thing we need to be doing now is adding more power to some entity that has more power than our own government.
Wrong Target – What a bunch of arrogant criminals we have in Congress. Do they really think that noone is watching?. They think that they can fool all of the people all of the time? Uh uh! Sure, sue OPEC but let our own criminal corporations do as they will since those corporations own Congress For the last 13 years or so automotive manufacturers have been equipping all new cars with a computer sensor. What purpose does it serve? It makes sure that your car doesn’t get more MPG than the oil companies want your car to have! This is a fact and you can ask any mechanic worth his grease and he will confirm it for you.
The real solution resides in grassroots movements and new technologies. Don’t expect these new technologies to come from corporations.
One such technology is Water4Gas.
WATER4GAS is providing information at a low price which consumers can use at home to create a small gizmo which infuses hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their car or truck runs on.
The process makes bite sized particles out of the particles that the engine uses as fuel. So the system is able to use considerably more of the gas.
By doing this you can reasonably expect to increase your fuel mileage by thirty to fifty percent or even more. Those goblets must have been pretty "blankin'" huge in some systems before. But with WATER4GAS they are made usable so you can increase your fuel mileage.
It also helps to lower emissions significantly.
This information has been purchased by tens of thousands car owners already and happy members number about 99%! So how about you?
